NurseMagic™ is a product owned and operated by Amesite, Inc. ("Amesite," "we," "us," or "our"). Amesite, Inc. is committed to protecting and preserving your privacy.

This policy, together with our Terms of Service, and any other underlying agreements or terms, sets out the basis on which any data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. By using our website and/or app (collectively the "Site"), you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy also describes the way we process, use, and disclose information that you provide to us when you use our Site.

By using this Site, you consent to the use of the information that you provide to us per this Privacy Policy. We do update this Privacy Policy from time to time so please review this Privacy Policy regularly. If we materially alter our Privacy Policy, we will let you know of such changes by posting a notice on our Site and/or contacting you at the e-mail address provided to us. Your continued use of the Site will be considered your agreement that your information and/or the information you provided to us may be used per the new policy. Information We Collect

By giving a telephone number to Amesite, you agree that a representative of Amesite can contact you at the number you provide, potentially using automated technology (including texts/SMS messaging) or a pre-recorded message. Your consent is not an obligation to receive any of our products and/or services.

By submitting information to our Site, you represent and warrant that: (i) you have all rights and permissions necessary to provide us with or grant us access to and use of any and all data you enter into the Site, including, but not limited to personal information and/or protected health information, (ii) obtained all necessary and appropriate consents, permissions, and authorizations in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations with respect to any and all data you enter into the Site, including but not limited to, consents from patients, their parents and/or legal guardians, and authorization for the use, exchange and disclosure of any applicable protected health information (collectively, "Consents"); (iii) you will maintain records of such Consents for the time period required by applicable laws and regulations; and (iv) you shall not provide, submit or otherwise process any data through the Site unless permitted by law to do so.

How We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

Our Site uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of our Site and estimate visits and click-throughs. This helps us to provide you with an enjoyable experience when you browse our Site and allows us to improve our Site. By continuing to browse the Site, you are agreeing to our use of cookies.

Our Service Providers may get more information about your activity on our Site, including pages you visit, access times, visit duration, how you arrived at our Site and your IP address. An IP address is a number that identifies a device connected to the internet. For most devices, the IP address changes on at least a weekly basis. Our Service Providers may also get device identifiers and specific information about the browser you use. In some cases, this information may be unique to you.

How do I change my cookie settings?

AI Use

Our Site uses generative AI technology to enhance your experience. Please review the following information regarding our Site's use of AI:

Purpose and Functionality: Our Site uses AI to provide you with responses to general inquiries and to provide you with other generalized information.

Data Collection and Use: We collect text inputs you provide to us and we use those text inputs to respond to your question(s), but your data will not be used to train or enhance our AI models.

However, we cannot guarantee the security of all information you submit to the Site. Your transmission of data to use through submission on our Site is entirely at your own risk.

Chrome Extension Privacy Practices

Our Chrome extension for NurseMagic follows the same privacy principles as our website and app. Key practices:

• The extension reads only form field structure (labels, selectors) on user-approved sites to match against your NurseMagic data. No field values, page content, or EHR data is read, stored, or transmitted.
• Authentication tokens and preferences are stored locally in chrome.storage.local or chrome.storage.sync. Clinical data (patient notes) is fetched from our API on-demand, used in memory only, and never stored locally.
• No extension data is shared with third parties beyond our API for your own notes.
• Session timeouts, PKCE OAuth, and HTTP blocking ensure protection. All code is bundled; no remote execution.

How We Use Information

The information that we collect and store relating to you and/or other individuals is primarily used to enable us to supply our services to you in the best possible manner. In addition, we may use the information for the following purposes:

• To provide you with information relating to our services;
• To fulfill or meet the reason you supplied the information;
• To provide third parties with statistical information about the users of our Site;
• To check and conduct an analysis of our Site traffic and usage patterns;

HIPAA Compliance

Amesite is committed to maintaining the privacy and security of protected health information in compliance with HIPAA. We have implemented policies and procedures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information pursuant to HIPAA.

Security

To secure your information, we have put in place commercially suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect on our Site. Nonetheless, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and therefore we cannot guarantee the security of data sent to us electronically on our Site, and transmission of such data is therefore entirely at your own risk.

Disclosing Your Information

Where applicable, we may share your personal information and/or protected health information to any affiliated business entities or third parties necessary to supply services to you. This includes, where applicable, our subsidiaries, our holding company and its other subsidiaries (if any), as well as third parties involved in the administration and operation of our services. Where we disclose personal information or protected health information for a purpose set forth herein, we enter a contract with the third party that describes the purpose and requires the third-party recipient to keep that information protected and secured, not use it for any purpose except performing the contract, and to comply with any and all applicable state and/or federal laws, including, but not limited to HIPAA.

Third-Party Websites

By accessing third-party websites through our Site, you are consenting to the terms and privacy policies of those websites. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for their policies whatsoever as we have no control over them.

Users Only of Legal Age of Majority

Our Site is designed and intended for those who have reached the age of majority (18 years of age). By using our Site, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age or older. We are not liable for any damages that may result from a user's misrepresentation of age.
