Leadership
Dr. Sastry founded Amesite to empower people with AI. Previously, she was CEO and co-founder of Sakti3, acquired by Dyson in 2015 for $90M. She was an Arthur F. Thurnau Professor at the University of Michigan for 17 years and holds a PhD and MS from Cornell University and a BS from the University of Delaware, all in Mechanical Engineering. She has authored over 100 publications and 100 patents, received the ASME Frank Kreith Energy Award (2011) and the NSF Presidential Early Career Award (1997), and was invited to the White House in 2015 to meet President Obama. Her work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Forbes, The Economist, USA Today, and The New York Times.
Board of Directors
Mr. Parmer serves on LINKBANCORP's board and is Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Messiah University in Pennsylvania. He founded Fine Line Homes, a residential developer operating along the east coast from New York to North Carolina, and Residential Warranty Corporation, and has founded three insurance companies in Colorado, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
Mr. Losh joined Amesite's board in February 2018. He was CFO of Cardinal Health (2004–2005) and CFO and Executive Vice President of General Motors (1994–2000). He currently chairs Masco Corp. and serves as a director at Aon PLC, H.B. Fuller Co., and Prologis, Inc. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University and an MBA from Harvard University.
Ms. Brewer began her career in 1996 with a Bay Area startup, then worked for IBM and Cisco. She led HR for Sportvision and Tiburon before joining Netflix as Vice President of Talent in 2011. In 2017 she became Chief Culture Officer at GitLab and later Chief People Officer at Marqeta. She joined Amesite's board in 2019. She holds a BA from Santa Clara University and a master's in human resources management.
Dr. Omenn is the Harold T. Shapiro Distinguished University Professor at the University of Michigan, directing the Center for Computational Medicine & Bioinformatics. He led the global Human Proteome Project and has authored 618 publications with more than 39,000 citations. He served as a White House Fellow and Associate Director of the White House Office of Science & Technology Policy, and as President of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He served 27 years on Amgen's board and 22 years on Rohm & Haas's board. He holds a BA from Princeton, an MD from Harvard, and a PhD in Genetics from the University of Washington.
