Ann Marie Sastry began her career in secure computing at Sandia National Laboratories at Kirtland Air Force Base, and held a chaired professorship in engineering at the University of Michigan for seventeen years. She co-founded Sakti3 and led it to a $90 million acquisition by Dyson. She has since taken Amesite from founding to a Nasdaq listing, where her team built and shipped NurseMagic — documenting care in sixteen languages for users across all fifty states and more than twenty countries, under HIPAA and the data-protection rules of each. McKnight's named her a 2026 Woman of Distinction for Commercial Excellence.

He has architected Amesite's documentation systems since 2018 and shipped them into production — a note-writing engine built to work with whatever forms an operator uses, and charting in sixteen languages, running today with enterprise operators in home health and post-acute care and with users in all fifty states.
